![]() Senior Night ![]() Like most schools, we have a night set aside every year to honor our seniors. It's always our last home game. We try to make this a special night for the seniors and their families. Here's some ideas for you to use. The week of senior night we decorated the boys lockers with these posters which were for our senior basketball player. We put this poster on our senior's locker. These are the posters we made for our senior atheletes. We put these up outside the gym. We have a section on the website that shows how to make these posters. Click here to go see it. Before the Varsity game, we took pictures of our seniors. Our cheer mom got the guys on the team to be silly (that wasn't very hard). Then we took a lot of pictures of our senior cheerleaders. Jen and Becca did an amazing job this year. They helped motivate us and we'll miss having them on our squad. Before the Varsity game on senior night, we always introduce the seniors and their parents. The rest of the Varsity girls bring out gifts for the parents and seniors. We give roses to the moms and crosses/medallions to the dads. We also included our senior from the swim team. We always make a special gift bag for our senior girls. We usually try to fill the bag with purple or gold gifts. Our cheer mom made a beautiful collage of pictures for each senior girl. She added fabric crosses and straw flowers to add a special touch. Each of our girls got a megaphone with "PCS" on it. Some of the girls from the senior class made T-Shirts with Jen and Becca's names on them. We put "senior night" on our breakthrough to emphasize to our team that it was Senior Night. We tried to get pictures of our seniors in action. (This is Jeff's last jump ball, and everyone was proud of his game that night) At half time of every Varsity game, Peoria Camera sponsors our half-time shootout. Our two seniors carried out the banner during the shootout. One of our senior cheerleader's dad had the chance to win $1000 in the shootout. Jen was very excited after her dad made the 3-pt shot.
