State Final Four Going to state is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Cheering for our boys at the Civic Center was so much more fun than we would have thought. This year was great, and we're proud of how the team did. It was really neat to be in the Civic Center for March Madness. We had a great time at sectionals. Scott and Sue Smith donated two huge boxes of purple and gold beads for the fans. We got to hand out the beads to the crowd and this really helped school spirit. When we won our Super-Sectional, we knew that we were going to go to State. The Civic Center is very fun to cheer in. We had a celebration for our team the day after State. We rode on the firetruck with the team all through Peoria.
