Senior Night posters Every year for senior night, we put posters up for each senior athlete in front of the gym. Usually most schools just use a basketball and a megaphone. My mother and I wanted to do something different. We decided to make posters that looked like the uniforms. They looked amazing when we were finished!   For the girl's uniform poster, we traced the uniform on newspaper. Then we cut the tracing out. (we cut out more than one copy) We laid it on poster board and traced it. We couldn't just print out letters and have them look like the "PCS", so we photocopied the "PCS". We used cardstock so that the PCS would be stronger. We cut up one of our newpaper tracings to make the stripes and other parts of the uniform. This was our base layer for the poster. We used our purple marker to color the purple onto the uniform. For the stripes on the shoulder, we cut out yellow and white cardstock strips. We glued the stripes together, then we glued them onto the uniform. We made a second layer of white to go on top of the first. We ran our black marker along the edge of this layer. We put this down and it overlapped the shoulder stripes at the bottom. These are the patterns for the bottom white stripes. For the middle stripes, we cut out 4 different patterns. We traced out "PCS" onto yellow cardstock. We traced our yellow stripe onto the same cardstock. Then we cut them out. We glued the yellow stripe onto the larger white stripe. Since we didn't have purple, we used our permapaque marker for the stripe. We laid them on top of a larger white stripe. For the neckline stripes we put a yellow stripe on a larger white stripe. Before we glued anything down, we laid our stripes on top of the uniform. We also added the Varsity uniform logo, a picture of our cheerleader, and her name with the year. We had to adjust things until they were lined up. We trimmed up the edges, and the uniform turned out just like we wanted.
