![]() Senior Night posters ![]() Every year for senior night, we put posters up for each senior athlete in front of the gym. Usually most schools just use a basketball and a megaphone. My mother and I wanted to do something different. We decided to make posters that looked like the uniforms. They looked amazing when we were finished! This year we added a new design for our team manager. I found this picture in my clip art book, printed it out and then used an opaque projector to enlarge it. You can save a lot of time by projecting your picture onto the large poster board. It took us about 1 minute to trace this picture. I always draw it in pencil first, then I go back over with a permanent marker. On a separate sheet of cardboard I traced the tie. On a smaller piece of card stock I printed out "PC", a pocket with "Peoria Christian" printed on it and to purple circles for cufflinks. I also traced another collar. I cut out the tie and used a permanent marker to color it. I tried to color the tie so it looked like it had a striped design. I laid the tie on the poster. Then I took the "PC" tie clip and glued it to the tie. I glued the tie to the poster. I cut out a second collar. I placed the second collar on top of the first collar and glued it down. This gave the poster a nice 3-D look. I cut out my cuff links and laid them on each cuff. I moved each one several times until I found where they looked the best. When I printed the cufflinks, I added the "PC" logo. I printed "Peoria Christian" on the pocket. When I laid David's picture on the poster I did not like how the square shape of the picture looked. I trimmed around the picture and thought it looked better this way. I added a little card that had his name, Peoria Christian, senior night, and the date on it. I tried several different placements before I glued them down. We were very happy with the way this senior night shirt turned out, and it really let our manager know how much he was appreciated.
