![]() Matching Hair Pieces & Clips ![]() Sometimes you want to do something really special and festive with your hair. Here are some great ideas for events such as homecoming, senior night, parades, and tournaments. This inexpensive hair piece is perfect to glue your beads/jewels onto. If you go to the craft store, you can find dozens of different shapes/colors/sizes of beads. Arrange the beads onto the hair piece and glue them down with a strong-holding glue. You can create very different looks just by varying your colors. If you'd like, you can make matching hair clips. We bought these clips for only $2.00 and we used nail polish in our squad's colors. Apply two coats of your polish onto the top of the hair clips. If you want to, you can dip them in glitter while the 2nd coat is still drying. These are a set of finished hair clips. If you are going to cheer or tumble you might want to consider using bobby-pins to hold the clips in. If you would like something a little different looking, you can make cloth covered clips. Cut your shape out of a heavy fabric. (old blue jeans work great) You don't have to cut a star, you can use the shape of your mascot, or letters, or whatever you think would look nice. Once you cut your design, spread glue onto one side, and press into glitter. Once the glitter has dried all the way, then turn the design over, and glue the top of a hair clip onto the non-glittered side of the fabric. These look very nice when they match the hair piece.
