![]() Extention Prep ![]() Now we have to cradle, which is a very scary thing to do, if you've never tried it before. ![]() The flyer prepares to cradle, by hitting a high V. The backspot counts to cordinate the cradle. Our extra spot steps to the back, just in case there is a problem cradling. ![]() The bases sponge, then push the flyer's feet up. The backspot helps keep the flyer's ankles steady and straight. ![]() The bases put their hands together underneath the flyer, ready to catch her. The flyer starts to hit the pike position. The backspot sticks her hands up, to catch under the arms of the flyer. ![]() The flyer hits a T so that the backspot will catch her. The bases's arms adsorb the downward momentum of the flyer's cradle. The extra spot is not needed here, because the cradle went down without problems, so the spot steps back. ![]() The cradle is caught. ![]() The flyer dismounts from the stunt, rather surprised that everything went so well. That's an extention prep with a cradle! (We're proud of all our flyers that based and our base who flew!)
