Liberty to Blow-Out

This stunt is a show-and-go Liberty that transitions into a blow-out baskettoss. Your stunt group should master baskettosses and liberties before they try this.

The stunt group starts in the ready position for a liberty.

The stunt group sponges to start the liberty.

The liberty goes up like normal.

When the liberty gets to the very top, the bases bring it back down.

The bases and backspot should try to make the stunt come down slow and controlled.

The flyer taps her foot on the ground, trying to stay in control. She should have her hands on the bases shoulders, supporting herself.

The flyer then brings her foot back into the base's hands.

The backspot grabs the flyers ankles.

The stunt group sponges down, ready for the blow-out.

The bases throw the flyer up as high as they can, while the flyer rides the toss up.

At the top the flyer can hit a toe touch, spin a full turn, or do anything that she normally would do in a baskettoss. (Make sure your flyer is getting high enough.)

The bases catch the flyer on her way down.

The show-and-go to blow-out is an easy way to combine two intermediate stunts. This stunt is very impressive when you can get two stunt groups to do it together.
